Little disappointed. One of the first steps is to cut the notch in the side panels for the back splash and the unit ended up being recessed under the cabinet by the same distance. I should have waited until test fitting. Nothing for my set up went per the instructions, but it all looks fine in the end. Instructions say the side walls get held in place by drilling holes into the counter top for the cleats on the base of the side panels to be screwed down. That ain't happening dude. After gluing the front panel to the side panels while in position, I carefully used clear caulking around the outside of whole unit except the joints connecting the side panels to the front. Added some dobs of caulking on the inside where the panels contacted the cabinet. Unit is nice and solid in place.

Super happy with construction and instructions. Looks like it was part of original construction, not an after thought 20 years later.

Read the installation instructions carefully. Accurately measure before making any cuts. Take your time and enjoy a finished add-on product that looks like it was part of your original built-in kitchen cabinets.

The product itself is of expected quality but unfortunately their measurements did not match what was advertised. Instead of 17" width it was 16 13/16th"and sides were 11" instead of 11 7/8". Doesn't sound like much but the lines going down to counter would have been off and not acceptable and sides would not have reached to back tile. I kept it because in hurry to use and am paying carpenter to use just the tambour door and he is building the rest. Customer service good but it was what it was. They would have taken back and NOT charged restocking or shipping.

I had to demo the existing appliance garage during countertop replacement. This is the identical item, shipped unassembled. Quality of the wood is great, the tambour door operates smoothly and the joints on the face are tight. A very light sanding is all that is needed before staining and topcoat. Thanks to the service agent for checking that this unit was indeed unassembled. I appreciate it.
