The item was not designed to be installed as pictured. The instructions have the bottom shelf installed several inches from the bottom of the cabinet leaving wasted space below it. We put the shelf at the floor of the cabinet anyway but it does not turn as smoothly as the upper shelf. Other than that the quality of the product is fine and installation was simple.
