This heavy duty flap stay is designed for for bureaus, writing desks, or similar. It securely latches a flap closed and holds it in the fully opened position.
For bureaus & writing desks To select which stay to use, the Torque Moment must be calculated. Torque Moment is calculated by multiplying 1/2 of the door height by the door weight Door Height x 1/2 x Door Weight = Torque Moment

The parts were very good, and heavy duty, unfortunately they did not fit the installation that I was trying to do. Returns were fast and easy.
