The stay has a catch which is designed to hold the door in a closed position.
For use with downward opening flaps To select which stay to use, the Torque Moment must be calculated. Torque Moment is calculated by multiplying 1/2 of the door height by the door weight Door Height x 1/2 x Door Weight = Torque Moment
