The SDS-C301N is designed to securely latch a flap closed and hold the flap in the fully opened position. This stay comes in 2 finishes and is for use with upward opening flaps.
For use with upward & top- opening flaps with concealed or single knuckle hinges To select which stay to use, the Torque Moment must be calculated. Torque Moment is calculated by multiplying 1/2 of the door height by the door weight Door Height x 1/2 x Door Weight = Torque Moment

It works great it just take alot of adjustments to get it to close right. But we called the customer service number and they were very helpful in getting them just right.

The installation template was off a bit due to my printer. Printers and scanners are not allowed to make perfect copies due to counterfeiters copying bills. Because of this, the template just needed a little TLC.
