I am not very handy but these were very easy to install. Just one screw, no predrilling. My kitchen cabinet doors are thin wood laminate and this gave them an upgraded touch. I could hear my family banging the doors through the walls, now it's nice and quiet!

Some of my kitchen cabinets are missing their door bumpers. As a result, these doors slam shut unless you are very gentle when closing. Even doors that have all their bumpers can make noise. This product looked like a perfect solution, and, my wife was anxious to have these installed. I didn't see the recommendation to use two per door for "3 hinge" doors so I ordered only "1" per door. One per door worked out just fine for all doors including some taller, 40 X 20, 3 hinge doors. For installation, I purchased a new, split point, 3/32 drill bit. When I tried to use an older bit from my shop, the bit wanted to wander, probably due to the sharp entry angle. Absolutely no problems when using the new bit although trying to drill at a angle in the somewhat restricted door opening was a little challenging. For the lower cabinets, I was actually lying on the floor! If I did this for a living, I would make a "jig" to make it easier to hold the angle. It didn't take more than about 5 minutes per door for installation. I liked the fact that I didn't have to adjust a single unit. Closing speed seemed just fine without doing anything. I had about 30 doors to do but benefited from a quantity discount as well as a coupon. Delivery was very quick and I thought shipping costs were reasonable as well.

These are a very nice and inexpensive solution to slamming cabinet doors. They were simple to install, only required small adjustment to door hinges afterwards as they put pressure on the corners. I wish all cabinets came with these from the factory but at least there is this easy option for those that don't. Need to pick up just a couple more to finish the doors that I don't use frequently. Very nice upgrade.

I bought these for rarely used cabinets after using Blumotion 971A soft close on the rest. These are chrome plated plastic where the Blum are metal. These are functional but not near as smooth or as long a stroke as the Blumotion. Always have to pay for what you get.

My cabinet doors used to slam when you closed them. The easy to install universal soft close system was the best thing we ever did!
