Drilling new Euro hinge holes in old doors went smoothly and quickly with this bit. Recommend using with a drill press only.

I have never had a need for a boring bit but while building some cabinets I wanted to add sliding hinges to hide the door away and it required Euro-style hinges. This boring bit was super sharp and cut the perfect hole for those hinges. I used it in my small drill press and could not be happier with the outcome.

Very good quality bit. It cut nice clean holes in oak cabinet doors. I used it in a drill press and it performed beautifully. It would be very hard to use in hand drill since the depth and placement of the mounting holes need to be exact.

I got this to try out because my old bit was getting dull. Only down side to this bit the point is so small the blades make contact with the wood before the point making it hard to line up your X spot on the wood. Needs to be about a 1/32in longer.
