Adjustable Spice Rack 11-3/4 inch L Maple

This maple cabinet looks good from the front. A carpenter was required to get the parts to fit well, and to sheathe the sides with additional maple plywood to make the sides look good freestanding. This cabinet was designed to be adjacent to other cabinets (or a wall) to hide the seams. The shelf bracket holes were of varying depths. We had to make our own maple kick b board to close-up the bottom and to add lateral integrity. We also trimmed the shelf widths to make them fit. The total cost of this pre-made cabinet resulted in the same total it would have been for a custom cabinet of the same size—and quality control would have been improved had I hired the local carpenter from the start. I would not recommend this product for the average lay-person, unless they were willing and prepared to pay a carpenter to correct the fit and customize the cabinet once it arrivef.
