I bought the 14" glides thinking full extension meant 14" travel. It doesn't, more like 12 3/4" . It does say it on a chart but you have to search a bit to find it. They should do a better job pointing that out. Also, the self closing part is very finicky and often fails to hook up with the part attached to the drawer box. It can be very frustrating and there doesn't seem to be any reason why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I checked everything for level and even but it still happened. Could definitely stand some improvement.

We just installed a retractable folding station into our walk-in closed making use of the easy close slides from Cabinet Parts. These slides were easy to install and offer sufficient stability for the folding station itself. This way we have a folding station which can be slided in when not in use.

The slides themselves seem to be decent. They don’t come with screws! I bought a bag, just in case. Thinking if I dropped a couple, I would have extras. But it’s only a small bag. Now I need a couple of more bags in order to finish the project. I can’t find them locally, so I need to order more and wait a week to get them. Now I need to make up excuses for the customer. And it’s another trip back. So much for profits!

These slides are perfect for what I needed, doing some small night stands with drawers. Action is smooth and i hope they stand the test of time.
