Communicated with cabinetparts via online chat & sent email with pictures as requested. I explained goal was to replace existing hinges with hinges that would close slowly but not slam. The personnel from cabinetparts responded back with the info on what I needed to order. I ordered 2 hinges to test before placing a large order. Hinges arrived as advertised however, they did not work properly as they allowed my cabinet to slam shut. I called customer service to explain the situation and I was immediately put on the defense by an employee that felt it necessary to justify that they had shipped the right part according to their text records…WOW! I am an average consumer and I’ve NEVER ordered parts for a cabinet, to be treated as if I was an idiot and with a condescending tone is just a little more than I bargained for. I’ll keep the wrong hinges and toss them in the trash. You can forget about me ordering replacement parts from your company. Very poor experience and would not recommend others do business with you.
I emailed for customer support and they made sure I ordered the right thing and advised on installation. Very good experience.
