The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I am not a big fan of the "Soft Close" concept. Theses are great guides and if your cabinets are built to extremely tight tolerances and the installation is also that precise, they work. but any variation in construction, installation, or movement after the install is complete and the mechanisms do not work properly. the order and delivery process from Cabinet Parts was exelent.

These slides require a precise installation. I ended up using playing cards as shims to finally get these perfectly aligned. It took up to an hour a drawer. I did 14 drawers in my kitchen so it was a full weekend of installation. The end result was fantastic! Very smooth and a lighter pull than other soft close slides I have used. I installed them on drawers from 10" wide to huge 36" drawers holding 50-60 lbs. Even with this weight they glide effortlessly and soft close perfectly. Right now my rating is 4.5. It's a 5 if they still work like this after 5 years.

The product did not performers as I had hoped. The force needed to open the drawer and unseat the soft closed feature is higher than expected. Closing is nice. I am undecided as to whether or not I'll proceed to replace more of my drawer glides with the soft close feature.

I’ve been using these slides for more than a few years and have never had a problem with them. The soft-close mechanism works well if you don’t bang it around. It’s plastic after all. But once correctly installed, they work great. When I load the box into the slides, I always pull the slides forward instead of pushing the box in. It avoids jamming the mechanism until all the shimming is done. There are cheaper slides, but these are worth the money.
