Origional maple tambour in kit was replaced after a photo sent for review of unuasial dark veining. very happy with guick response

We recieved our Tambour Door Kit in great condition. It was exactly what we needed and arrived in a timely mannor, well packaged and in good condition. We searched many web site locations for this particular Tambour door kit size and unfinished: however, you were the only one who could provide this size without the entire cabinet. Also, your price was good and the product was easy to install. We are very satisfied with your product, price and service.

Easy installation. Easy to trim to size. Look great. Excellent quality and finish. I installed two in upper/lower kitchen cabinets with roll out drawers. The Tambour doors roll up behind at the opening, and because of this, the cabinets lost about two inches each in the opening height, so this should be considered before installing. After cutting the leading edge wooden handle grip to size, I used the cut-off portion as another grip which I installed in the center, two slats above the leading edge, for an addition handle grip to control up and down motion. Looks good and works great. Also, if shelf and storage items are higher than the Tambour door opening which is two inches shorter, and you are also installing roll out shelves, there is a tendency to scuff the rolled up portion of the Tambour door at the cabinet opening when the shelf is rolled out. A guard or obstruction should be installed ahead of the Tambour door so that storage items will be prevented from hitting the Tambour door when the shelf is pulled out. Product would be improved if a roll guard was provided along with the installation hardware. A one inch piece of metal or wood installed across the width of the cabinet just ahead of the Tambour door roll up assembly should do the trick.

I replaced a built in Microwave with this unit. Cut down from 30" by 18" to 26" by 17" to fit the opening. Predrill the holes for the track. Install the nonspringholding track on one side, mount the spring on the other track with the door and turn it 5 turns for tension then slip it into the opening and screw the track down. Works fantastic and my wife loves it!
