MY wife and I acquired a 1926 Atwater Kent Pooley radio cabinet sometime after we were married in 1972. The cabinet's hinges were both broken. I recently discovered, through the advent of the internet, that the original hinges were made by SOSS. Then I discovered that Cabinet Parts sold these hinges. I wanted to make sure that I ordered the correct hinges, so I phoned Cabinet Parts and talked to one of their sales persons. He determined that the correct hinge was the one that needed a 1" cut out on the 3/4" thick section of wood on my radio cabinet. I ordered the SOSS part, from the sales person. It arrived in about one week and I quickley inserted it into my antique radio cabinet. The hinge worked perfectly! And I was very pleased with my completed project.
