  • Key Features : Woven from cane fibers in traditional Vietnamese fashion, Rattan is a durable and environmentally friendly material used for a wide variety of applications.
    Shipped in rolls.
    We recommend using behind glass or with a backer due to natural material stretching.
    To install, soak Rattan in water for 20-25 minutes. Fit webbing while wet using clamps or staples. Rattan will tighten as it dries and will continue to expand and loosen with temperature and humidity.
    To ensure long-term durability, clean with a small brush or soft cloth to avoid scratches. Limit use of water, soap, and other cleaning products. Use a vaccuum for dust, dirt, and other particles. Keep rattan pieces in dry spaces and out of sunlight. If needed, trim Rattan with scissors.

    The listing could have described the material is "laminated", as I was expecting solid-one piece, Not a layup of 3/4" pieces to make a 2" thick. I could have laid up had I known. The product was of good quality, just not what I expected (as there was no clarification on the description, Lay-up). :(

    I ordered two of these. One of them was great, and the other one was not. The second was was not cleanly sanded and had some rough edges in the detailed areas. Disappointed by this piece. I had to do quite a bit of manual sanding on my own to make it look good after painting.
