CompX cam locks are engineered for versatile use in drawers and both right-hand and left-hand cabinet doors, accommodating lipped/overlay as well as flush constructions. Models typically include either a straight cam for overlay doors or a formed cam for flush applications. In overlay setups, it's important that the combined thickness of the cabinet front and frame does not exceed the cylinder length to ensure proper locking engagement. All CompX cam locks feature a 90 Degrees cam rotation, with keys generally removable in both the locked and unlocked positions for ease of use. Keying options vary by model many locks are compatible with the D8785 key blank and can be keyed alike with other disc tumbler locks. Some models offer master keying, often using the E41A master key with a D8783 blank, while others are available without a master key requirement, offering flexibility to meet a range of security needs. Each cam lock is typically supplied with two keys, a trim washer, a spur washer for wood applications, a mounting nut, and two cam options. For metal installations, a flat washer (e.g., part C2015-2C) may be required and is sold separately.

    I ordered some locks from a link I found when searching the parts I needed, once I put those parts in the cart and started looking for other parts I needed I found the website to be difficult to navigate, slow/no response from customer service and ultimately went elsewhere for the other parts I needed. It is not likely that I will return to this site to order again as I need or prefer a one stop shop when jobs come up and I need everything to complete a project in a timely manner.

    The drawer pulls are good quality and have a nice finish, but the quality of the long fasteners is very poor. The hardware is made so can be cut easily but the threads are very poor and cross thread easily. I will have to buy better fasteners, I don’t see
