This bracket is sturdy. I use on a vending trailer to support an outside shelf. I had the same before and it lasted about 10 years. Good product.

The Brackets were just what I needed to finish a small island on wheels .I was able to add extra counter top with the brackets. When the island is not in use,the extra surface space drops down . The island can roll up against the wall giving amore open look to a small kitchen.

Overall, it's the perfect solution if you want to make a table that drops down out of the way when not in use. The bracket is about 1/2" thick and keeps the table close to the wall. Good: Inexpensive, well built, easy to install, arrived quickly Bad: Spring has too much tension. Yellow chromate isn't pretty.

These were last minute purchases, but worked well to support new butcher block counters with an overhang for seating. Easy install, rugged, and show no signs of flex under weight.
