Use this shelf clip for KV # 233 and 255 pilaster strips. Sold 100 per box.
I've build a tool cart as shown in The Family Handyman magazine. I purchased standards and clips from Cabinet Parts. These are exactly what I wanted/needed. And Cabinet parts were helpful with the selection process and shipped quickly.
Clips fit the pilasters as described and work great.
The #256 Zinc Shelf Support does what it is designed to do!But, before I could use it on my old bookcase shelfs,I had to "REBEND" almost every one of the clips. As received, almost every one failed to "Snap-IN" to thevertical metal strips of my book case! The clip tabs were either too wide or too close together! But by using my pliers and screwdriver, I "rebent" themso that they each "snapped in" as they were designed to do!This required a tedious and time consuming procedure! After that, the clips snapped in place and worked perfectly!I was able to fix my old bookself. slow to arrivw due to out of stock or order not done properly. took over a week to arrive while strips arrived in acouple days.
I never thought I would find these. The steel cabinets I have I have in my garage are from 1955!!! I was able to find one original clip in one of the cabinets and found your name and the #256 on it, googled it and low and behold the clips are still available. I ordered 100 of them on line and received them a few days later. The shipping cost was almost as much as the 100 clips.
Their website was excellent.
The knobs and pulls I purchased were just like described. The came on time, actually earlier than expected. Easy and beautiful!
CabinetParts.com had exactly what I wanted. They provided the required hardware with the item. No reason for me to contact customer support. Everything worked and looked as expected.
New hinges worked well, very satisfied. Question! Is there an adjustment screw for spring force? Thanks.
