When I moved into my home, I inherited a very expensive kitchen from the pervious owners. That very expensive kitchen is now 20 years old and parts of it are in need of replacement. High on that list was the mechanism that controlled a vertical lift door on a counter wall cabinet. I am not a carpenter by any stretch of the imagination but I do know how to maintain my home. Even so, replacing these hinges was going to be a test. I had to do an exact replacement of a Sugatsune hinge set and I assumed that over the 20 years since the first one had been installed that the manufacturer would have changed the dimensions of the hardware. So I resolved to just deal with whatever arrived and be precise with my measurements. The hinge set arrived less than a week after I ordered it and as soon as it arrived I opened up the box and started to measure things. It appeared to be the exact size of the hardware I was replacing. I then removed the old hardware and the new hardware lined up precisely with the existing holes. I was in luck. I had the whole thing installed in about a half an hour and my counter wall cabinet with a vertical lift door works as perfectly as it did when it was new. Here's the best part. When I called the cabinet manufacturer they told me that they could order me the parts I needed for $600 but then I'd need to hire one of their installers for a day to install it. It would have cost me around a thousand dollars total. But by buying the hardware and installing it myself, I'm out less than $200. Thank you CabinetParts.com!

The product itself great, works perfectly. The instructions are a bit hard to follow, measurements are in metrics. Rather than try and convert the measurements, I just examined the pictures and figured it out.

Very impressive operation. Easy to install. Highly recommended!! Cost much less than brand-x we were considering (had to order about 5 separate parts. Much which were not in stock.)

We purchased this product to replace the one that we had for 10 years....which unfortunately through wear and tear caused the plastic component on one side to crack. This mechanism works with ease and enhances the cabinetry of the kitchen. It's unfortunate that this product isn't available in Canada. The charge for the delivery and the duty makes this expensive item even more so.

Customer wanted to change a flip-up door to a swing-up door and this worked perfectly! We had never done anything like this as our customers seem to only want traditional styles, colors & looks here in rural east TX. But, so many people fleeing blue states means we are getting new residents who want more unique function. This is something we will TRY to do again in the future...it seems that people are still craving Red State way of life so this is great for us! CabinetParts.com was great and shipped quickly.
