    The original Grass hinge is cast metal, more solid and decorative than this replacement which is of lighter weight press formed metal. The TEC 864 fit well and operates satisfactorily.

    This bit seems to be the best replacement bit for the Grass 830-33, which is obsolete. It does require some drilling, as do all other potential replacements that I could find for the Grass 830-33. CabinetParts.com website was very helpful in the ordering process, and the hinges arrived promptly. 5 Stars, all the way.

    The Tec 864 Hinge was a perfect replacement for a Grass hinge that was about 25 years old. I had one broken hinge but went ahead and replaced all 4 on the pantry door. The door has never worked better. The new hinge fit right into the old hinge opening and easily aligned with the existing holes in the cabinet frame. I used a slightly larger screw to afix the hinge to the frame to ensure it held well.
