Purchased this and the adapter. Easy solution and works as expected. PRICING was very reasonable, anyone can afford it. Used this on my bathroom mirror cabinet. Love that it kept the streamline look of my mirror cabinet.

I found these to replace a couple of failed “pop-outs” that had been bugging my wife for years. These were of higher quality than the originals, but slightly deeper than the ones they replaced. After pulling out the old ones with pliers, I simply sized the drill bit with the existing hole and went another quarter inch in. The springs and magnets are strong. I would buy them again, but I don’t think I will need to.

These perfectly fit existing cabinets- however their magnetic tip pole is a similar pole to the magnetic from another design of failed cabinet latches. As a result, the magnet on this piece’s tip and the magnet in the door (that I can extract for the door) are repelling each other, negating the desired mating. I cannot find the existing design anywhere on this website (and I called also and no one knew of such a magnet in door design). I have to figure out how to extract the existing magnet in the door to possibly turn it around so it’s opposite pole is facing this device’s tip. Wish me luck..
