Great product.....a word of caution, when doing the door weight factor sizing. When the program spits out a number based on your inputs, and you happen to be very close to the top end force factor rating for a particular hinge, move up to the next size hinge. There is no fudge factor involved in the ratings and the ratings speak the truth.....and nothing more!

I do need to figure out the mounting plate which seems specific to the mechanism. Looking for a plate now. So haven't used it yet looks like it works well though

Great product works great used for cabinet door over frig got the face frame brakets made the install easy the instuctions were not very good but is was not hard to figure out also had great shipping and price thanks

I haven't installed them yet but I can't fault Cab Parts for that. Instead they provided something that's becoming more and more rare: great support in this digital age. The kind of support you would get from an old time hardware store where the guy, usually the owner or his son, would work hard to solve your problem even if he didn't have what you needed. Very valuable and sorely missed. For that they get five stars.

After a contractor put the wrong hinge in our cabinet we couldn't get the door to stay up. We thought the hinge was broken, but upon contacting the hinge company we learned we had the wrong hinge. This new hinge is stronger and the door will finally stay open. It was easy to install (granted, I had previous holes already) and adjust. Ordering was simple and it arrived in the when they said it would.
