Our three bead turned columns are reminiscent of mid-19th century Bobbin or Spool turned furniture. Mass produced for cottage style designs in the mid 1800's, these pieces were often used in rural areas and urban cottages. Designs of Distinction wanted to breathe new life into the quintessential 1800's cottage style design and, as a result, created the Charleston Bead Column in 3 different styles: Bead, Double Bead, and Bead with Foot.

    I ordered two of these. One of them was great, and the other one was not. The second was was not cleanly sanded and had some rough edges in the detailed areas. Disappointed by this piece. I had to do quite a bit of manual sanding on my own to make it look good after painting.
