CompX pin and tumbler locks offer reliable security for a variety of cabinet and drawer applications, including right-hand or left-hand doors with lipped/overlay or flush constructions. Depending on the model, these locks come equipped with either a straight or formed cam to suit your installation type. In overlay setups, ensure that the combined thickness of the cabinet front and frame does not exceed the lock's cylinder length for proper cam engagement. These locks operate with a 90 Degrees cam rotation, and most allow the key to be removed in both locked and unlocked positions ideal for flexible access control. CompX pin and tumbler locks are available in a variety of keying configurations, including keyed alike, keyed differently, and master keying options. While many models can be master keyed (commonly using the M1 master key), others are offered without master key capability to meet specific security requirements. Standard packaging typically includes two keys, a trim washer, a spur washer for wood applications, a mounting nut, and two cams. For metal applications, a flat washer may be required and is usually sold separately.

    I ordered some locks from a link I found when searching the parts I needed, once I put those parts in the cart and started looking for other parts I needed I found the website to be difficult to navigate, slow/no response from customer service and ultimately went elsewhere for the other parts I needed. It is not likely that I will return to this site to order again as I need or prefer a one stop shop when jobs come up and I need everything to complete a project in a timely manner.
