The Harrison Top Plate Hidden Countertop Support by Federal Brace is an H shaped flat top plate designed to mount to the the top of your knee wall. It creates the perfect floating counter appearance while also supporting countertop overhang. The floating support arms sit flush with the top of your half wall to support overhangs. This bracket comes in sizes 23.25x12x.25 with arms of 10" on both sides to support up to a 14" of overhang and 31.25x12x.37 in with arms of 14" on each side to support up to 18" of overhang with a black powder coat finish. The middle bar of this bracket has a 3.25" mounting plate area. When installed per our installation guide, each bracket holds up to 375 Lbs when installed touching side by side. The holes on the bracket are countersunk so the countertop will sit flush against the bracket when installed. The best part about the Harrison Top Plate is that it is designed to support overhang on both sides of a half wall. This is great for extra eating space or to have a breakfast bar on one side and open storage space on the other.

We were able to get a 10 inch projection from the island, and the style of the brackets perfectly complimented the contemporary full overlay cabinets. These are substantial and well made pieces of hardware. Service and shipping were prompt.

3 of 5 Peeling paint on $70 brackets June 1st, 2021
by Maureen from Indianapolis, INI ordered five white steel Freedom hidden countertop brackets - 14" at $70 each for a quartz countertop. They arrived on time, each individually wrapped in bubble wrap, but when I removed them from the wrap to hang them, 3 of the 5 had paint cracks and chipping at the curved/bent part of the brackets. I thought they were powdered coated; obviously not. I had to go ahead and use them because the templater was arriving next day. Disappointed about peeling paint on $70 brackets.

by Jerry from BEACH LAKE, PAThe brackets were very nice. Painted well and appeared very strong. I opened the wall to mount them right to the studs. Lag bolted them in.. I put a 13" deep quartz counter on them and had about 1/16" sag. I put a 1/8" spacer at the ends of the brackets and it was fine. The counter is solid and I an very happy I purchased.
