The Brookdale Wood Corbel by Federal Brace is a low profile, sleekly designed member of the Federal Brace reinforced wood corbel collection. Sporting minimal, classic edges with out a gusset, The Brookdale gives a sleek, modest feel with a traditional wood finish. The overall measurements of 12 x 10 inches and a width of 3 inches in combination with the internal hidden steel rib provides sturdy carrying capacity for a wood corbel configuration. The low profile Brookdale Low Profile Wood Corbel is an excellent selection when wood is the finish desired and the strength of steel and elegance in design is required.The Corbel Rib Support can be used with any corbel or as one of our corbel mounting systems. It is made of 1/4" steel and designed to hold up to 375 pounds each.

    We were looking for brackets to mount a glass bar over the end of a granite Kitchen island. These fit the bill perfectly! We were able to get a 10 inch projection from the island, and the style of the brackets perfectly complimented the contemporary full overlay cabinets. These are substantial and well made pieces of hardware. Service and shipping were prompt.

    These braces are heavy and strong, to support a granite breakfast bar. Even our contractor commented on how attractive they are, and that they are much more substantial than most he's seen. Shipping was fast. We are pleased.

    3 of 5 Peeling paint on $70 brackets June 1st, 2021

    I ordered five white steel Freedom hidden countertop brackets - 14" at $70 each for a quartz countertop. They arrived on time, each individually wrapped in bubble wrap, but when I removed them from the wrap to hang them, 3 of the 5 had paint cracks and chipping at the curved/bent part of the brackets. I thought they were powdered coated; obviously not. I had to go ahead and use them because the templater was arriving next day. Disappointed about peeling paint on $70 brackets.

    The brackets were very nice. Painted well and appeared very strong. I opened the wall to mount them right to the studs. Lag bolted them in.. I put a 13" deep quartz counter on them and had about 1/16" sag. I put a 1/8" spacer at the ends of the brackets and it was fine. The counter is solid and I an very happy I purchased.

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
