Bought six of these to replace the wood slides in an old dresser. It helps to have something of a knack for DIY work since the instructions weren't much help, but it's fairly intuitive once you get started. And like others said, you need to yank the two slide pieces apart for it to come off. It's not difficult once you know to do that. The slides seem solid and slide smoothly -- and they were a superb price. Can't beat that!

They would be perfect if they had come with directions, I have yet to figure out how to get them apart to install them. I have watched U Tube videos on this but none have worked. Would love to be able to use them as I refinish furniture am needing things like this all the time.

it fit perfectly and works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had issues separating the two pieces to install them separately. I had to call and verify that the two were meant to be separated without some kind of switch. So for anyone that buys this, know this. Yes they come apart. Just pull them really hard until they do in the proper direction.
