High quality slider should last for years. Could be a little taller though, only 2.7" maximum between the keyboard tray and the bottom of the desk it is attached to.

I really liked how the product drawings were available for this product. One thing I failed to notice however is that the slides come in 2 per package so I accidentally ordered an extra set thinking it was only one per package. Also, holes in the mounting tabs on the slides did not come pre-threaded. This is fine, however, since the supplied screws are hard enough to cut threads in the holes as you fasten them, just make sure you are able to apply enough torque to the screws.
