Magnetic reed switches provide a reliable solution for cabinet and drawer lighting. When the magnet is within 25 mm (1") of the switch, the light turns off; when farther, it turns on. The switch can be drilled into a cabinet frame or surface-mounted, while the magnet can be screw-mounted or recessed. There are two types: 4-pin switch port versions for controlling multiple lights and inline versions for a single light without a switch port.

I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
