Much better than the factory issued hardware that comes with folding doors. Don't hesitate--this is the correct stuff!

This is a thoroughly thought out and strongly built mechanism. I love the way it "hangs" the door rather than rests it on the floor; it makes for smoother, more reliable bi-fold action, (NOTE- Be very careful with your order to be sure you get the color you WANT.)

These are the best bifold door parts that I have seen. There were omissions in the instructions. Not all screw sizes were called out for all parts. There was no instruction about cutting the top rail to fit or where to place the top pivot. There was very little information about how to make final adjustments, which was difficult. The doors eere not straight when first installed but there were no clues about how to align them. I am an experienced DIYer and an engineer by profession, even so, final adjustment was not trivial. The finished installation is very good.

I researched hardware for our bifold closet doors. I chose Johnson 1700 and was not disapointed. Even though the closet openings were not square the hardware went in easily and the doors were able to be adjusted correctly and look and work great. I would definitely purchase them again.

The Materials seem well made and should last well. However, the instructions are a bit lacking from an organizational point of view. With a bit of study and thinking, the instructions are adequate, but could have been so much better.
