    I am very impressed with the quality of this unit! The construction is solid and the wood used has character and took stain very well. Ended up being exactly what I wanted to complete my kitchen. One note, and this is not a *problem* with the product, but buyers should be aware that these are not built to fit all 36" hood inserts! I bought this with the expectation of using it with a Vent-A-Hood insert and the insert is almost an inch deeper than the hood opening. Required a good deal of custom trim work to make them work together. Buy with confidence that this is a high quality product, but make sure you measure 3 times with any non-bundled combination of ventilation products.

    We ordered this hood that needed to be fitted by my contractor to my small space. He called customer service to walk through how to adjust the dimensions and requirements for the vent insert. The awesome customer service team worked with me and the factory to expedite this getting in the truck to arrive in time to support my project!!     Although I kept my cabinets adding this wood hood gave the kitchen a new look. The quality is very good and the representative was so helpful because I wasn't sure what parts I needed to make this functional and yet attractive. It was delivered in a timely manner and my calls were always productive if I had a question. Thanks Russ for all your help!

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
