Flat Style Flexible Wood Veneer Tambour Sheet, Slat Length 47-1/2 Inch x 24 Inch Height, 1/2 Inch Slat Width x 7/32 Inch Thick, Unfinished Maple

It is unclear how the product is measured. We thought it would be with the slats standing up - not as the slats are horizontal. Nothing in the photos or description clarified this. Instead of getting 48” wide and 36” high - the measurements were opposite 36” wide and 48” high. We needed the product so had to order another to finish our island project. We haven’t completed the project yet but quality looks good. Shipping was faster than stated.

i'll start by saying I bought a 18"x24" tmbor door w/track.but it wasnt tall enough. so I found this item online from you. The tambor door in the kit is nice, solid oak slats, laid flat and rolled up nice. the one I am reviewing is made of veneered mdf and the veneer is very thin. I hope it holds up, but I'm not optomistic

Not disappointed in the product. The milling left a lot of small attached wood fibers between the ribs. That made it hard to stain without carefully trimming off the whiskers with an Xacto knife. Final product looks good.
