Bought this to replace a prior version/model that doesn't have the more solid base. Installing the door is always an exercise in getting lucky for measurements (pro tip: have your own roll of double sided tape to beef up the integrity of the placement before screwing it in/on). The one very noticeable negative is the force required to open the door, as the lever arm/piston is quite stiff. Product recommendation: make the strength of that adjustable. Currently worried about how much pull force it takes to open the door and having that rip off, but did reinforce its connection by re-using some fastener screws from the prior model (which happened to be the same size). For $347, I would have gladly paid a bit extra at that point to have an adjustable strength piston. Considering disconnecting the piston to reduce the torque the door has when pulling it open.

The slide out trash container holder is well designed and well constructed. Assembly and installation was quick and easy. There are so many of these devices on the market. Ordering thru Cabinet Parts made it so easy to decide which model to order. It was delivered to my shop in only a few days allowing me to install it in my shop rather then spend more time in my clients home to install it on site
