The lifting mechanism turns makes lifting heavy or awkward appliance, into a breeze with its spring loaded supports. 3 different settings depending on the weight and the 1-1/2" thick walnut shelf is included and ready to install. Finally this unit features 2 built in dampeners that allow this unit to gently glide back inside of your cabinet with very little assistance needed.

    We got this product to turn a cabinet into a lifting shelf for the stand mixer. We had to take out the drawer above but regardless I love it and now have to have a cabinet door made to fit the new cabinet size. Love the product!

    Rather than wagging your heavy mixer from cabinet to counter, install this appliance lift! Save counter space, save your back. Added suggestion, have an electrical plug installed inside the cabinet with the appliance lift. Then you are always ready to go! Happy baking!

    I had a large cabinet space that I wanted to maximize, and many of the :standard" drawer pull outs were not large enough. This one was custom made to my dimensions AND is actually beautiful, and looks perfect in my new wood cabinets. Money well spent

    Great product... However when we asked "customer service" if the shelf lift would work under a drawer they gave us a definite "NO"... Wrong,It does! Naturally the shelf does not come up even with the counter, but it works quite nicely.

    Well-made and well-designed....as it should be for the price. The only lift to use for heavy mixers like the KitchenAid. The soft-close option is worth the extra cost. But.....one caution: For taller appliances like the KitchenAid bowl-lift mixer, the mounting position specified in the manual will not work. (the photo supplied by KitchenAid of the enormously tall coffeemaker on the lift is........well.....shall we say "misleading"? I had to drop the mounting position of the unit by 3" to accommodate a KitcheAid Pro 600 mixer.

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
