    The life span of my lid is about 3 years before it becomes unseemly to me with scratches and being cleaned to death. Great product to have a backup lid for.

    I am so very pleased with the entire product..the soft close shelf and the lid for the trash container. The entire unit was a little pricey but it's just so well made it's worth it. Delivered in great condition.
