    Some contractors have forgotten how to use a screwdriver and can only use a power drill/driver. While enlarging existing cabinets, they striped the threads on the mounting plates and the screws. They are cast zinc/other and only have to be tightened hand tight, not driver tight. These are a perfect fit.

    I love the heft and look of the bronze plates. My only concern is with the mounting screws. For such a large plate and for security matters the screws are only 1/2 inch long. They would be easy to pry off. I have bought 1 inch screws, (the longest that wo
