The SOSS Invisible Hinge model #518 is a revolutionary design that allows it to wrap around molding and trim to create a completely hidden door with no reveal. It is designed for use in wood or metal applications that are a minimum of 1-3/4" thick. The model #518 is made out of alloy steel. It is the only hinge in the SOSS Invisible Hinge product line that stops at 92 degrees. Add molding and trim to your doors and wall for a truly unique and seamless look.

    This is a first try using this hinge and also the first hinge I've used with Shaper Origin to cut the receiving part. Its tiny and I'm not commonly using tiny so can't compare. I like it and I'm interested in using this one again.

    Had a Martha Washington sewing desk that needed new hinges and we found these the old ones came off the new ones went on and now it looks perfect. Let me know if you want pictures.

    first time installing the barrel hinges fir different thickness of wood box sides and top materials. the installation was very straight forward and easy to complete. I was very happy with the end result.

    Jonzee did a great job identifying the correct replacement hinges. The original design on the hinges is no longer available. The new replacement hinges required drilling new holes for the screws and routing out the 35MM hole to allow the hinge to open the
