    This little object (with the proper router base) made for the whole simplicity of the job.. while it fits only a certain recommended "Porter Cable" router... amd maybe other's with the proper router base hole size, with the combination of specified guide and router... the Soss install using this piece and the Router Guide was simple.... GET one set up your router for the specific SOSS hinge size - leave it as an install kit for yourself and you'll look and be a PRO immediately!!!

    Worked perfectly AFTER I bought a new router that it fits on. The comment that it fits most routers was not accurate. I now have four routers.

    This is a first try using this hinge and also the first hinge I've used with Shaper Origin to cut the receiving part. Its tiny and I'm not commonly using tiny so can't compare. I like it and I'm interested in using this one again.

    Jonzee did a great job identifying the correct replacement hinges. The original design on the hinges is no longer available. The new replacement hinges required drilling new holes for the screws and routing out the 35MM hole to allow the hinge to open the
