These replaced brushed nickel bar pulls on Alder wood cabinets. The Oil Rubbed Bronze is a much better match, doesn't look industrial at all and feels soft to the touch - even though they are hard metal. The down side, is that the 8-32 threads on the pulls seem to be tight, so the old 8-32 screws wouldn't fit the new handles. Luckily, the pulls came with their own screws, but I had to figure out that a little wiggle was needed to get them started, and I had to try every screw first, having to use some of the extra screws from other pulls in this order. All-in-all, we love the handles and it only took me about 8 hours to install all 66 pulls (about 4 hours for the first 14 to figure out how to get the screws to work, then 4 hours for the remaining 52).
