    I bought these after much research and help from CPs to replace my discontinued Blum hinges that are currently on all of my cabinets and there’s a lot of them. The old hinges had a plastic component which is exactly the component that keeps breaking and the new replacement hinges are all metal so they seem very sturdy and I’m hopeful that they will last throughout the life of the house! (These replaced Blum 1/2 in Overlay Frame Cabinet Hinges )

    It seems like the old style hinge on my cabinetry is obsolete. These new devices look to eliminate the failure point the old ones had, but their mounting is a bit different. After removing the old bracket, there are 2 screw holes to fill and one new hole to drill. Pretty simple to do just different. I wish they would make the pivot assembly and the mounting separately- that way the old bracket( a better mounting method, in my opinion) could be used.

    Due to a server overhaul in our office, we lost a bunch of records on past orders from Cabinet Parts -- they helped us recover pre-2024 invoices and find the parts we needed without a bunch of searching through their product lineup.     Jonzee did a great job identifying the correct replacement hinges. The original design on the hinges is no longer available. The new replacement hinges required drilling new holes for the screws and routing out the 35MM hole to allow the hinge to open the
