The Blum Aventos HK-XS lift system is a compact, space-saving solution designed for small wall cabinets with upward-opening doors. It is ideal for shallow cabinets and lightweight fronts, providing smooth and effortless motion. Each system requires a lift mechanism, cover caps, and a set of hinges and mounting plates. The appropriate strength is determined using Blum's power factor formula (cabinet height × door weight, including handle) to ensure reliable function. For handle-less applications, the HK-XS is also available with TIP-ON mechanical push-to-open technology. This system combines clean design, quiet performance, and dependable function, making it ideal for compact kitchens, bathrooms, or utility spaces. For face frame construction, use the BA20K5501 Face Frame Mounting Bracket, or block out the cabinet sides flush with the face frame edge.

    The installation illustration seemed to lack suggested location of the mounting brackets. I finally realized that with 3 pivot points involved, the arm and mechanism will come to rest where the geometry takes them.

    when I placed the order on June 2nd I paid extra for 3 day delivery. I did not receive my order June 16th not really 3 days it was 2 weeks. I would like a refund on the shipping and I will be returning everything to. It did not arrive in time and it was very important like I explained to the customer service people

    I purchased the TIP ON adapter to accompany the Blum tip ons. To my surprise, these ship without screws! Was it an oversight or did someone think screws should be an add on to the order?

    Way easier to install and adjust than a horizontal hinge. Probably a wash on price.

    Jonzee did a great job identifying the correct replacement hinges. The original design on the hinges is no longer available. The new replacement hinges required drilling new holes for the screws and routing out the 35MM hole to allow the hinge to open the
