I was really looking forward to the upgraded feel of "easy close" slides on our kitchen drawers. But after the first one I installed, it was clear these were not the right slides for our kitchen. It takes maybe 6lb to pull it open for the first 2" and then when you close, you have to shove it with some heft to get it over the hump to self-close" the last couple inches. Not a prohibitive amount of force by any means, but enough that you can't open it in a casual operation, you actually have to change your stance just to open the drawer. If I were using this on a really large/heavy drawer, I get how it would not be that significant compared to the force naturally required to pull it open, but on all the normal size kitchen drawers in my kitchen, it's too much by a really large amount.

I could not install these. I spent 6 hours prepping the draw and cabinet with solid wood attaching surfaces that measured the correct width and height within a 1/16 of an inch. the draw would not close. It hit solid stops within the slides. Could not figure out what kept it from closing. Maybe the soft close plastic mechanism. They are in the trash now. Tried to get a return and no response. I'll try a simpler version with a no soft close feature. This company may be a reseller of returned damaged parts or designs that don't work well.
