    The rim on the edge of the shelf (about 1 inch high)helps keep items on the shelf. The shelves are very strong making them very useful. The shelves hold quite a bit of weight. Great quality, easy installation.

    Needed a two shelf full circular lazy susan to replace mine that had a broken shelf. Exactly what I needed and came fast!! It was an easy installation. Didn't give it 4 stars cause the shipping was a bit too much, $25 to ship.

    I needed a shelf of this type in an old beach house. The cabinets are fine and I didn't really want to redo them. I just needed make better use of what I had. It probably took me a little longer than someone who does this type of thing, but still in an hour I was putting everything away on the new shelf.

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
