This is a must-have item if you are making a drawer with an inset front. Make sure you follow the instructions from Blum. It's cheap and will save you time/agony for aligning the drawer face to the cabinet frame. Installation is very easy, just one screw and there is no need for special tools; just your drill and a screw driver. Use a Brad drill bit. It makes it easy to drill at an angle. Start at a perpendicular position first to get the bit situated in the wood then angle it up.

I bought these for my trash bins after having some previous side mount ones that were terrible. I literally never had slides move so smoothly and the soft close is incredible. I am definitely not one to do online reviews, but these completely blew my expectations out of the water. Great product and worth every cent in my opinion. Only constructive feedback would be to give plans for a flat bottom drawer box because I were retrofitting these to a pre-existing bin and had to add a back piece and drill the holes. Not a big deal but would’ve made the install slightly easier. Anyone with any basic skills can do this though.

I was replacing an existing R562F525 slide, which Google informed me was 525mm = 21" long, so I ordered this item, as the max length listed was 21". On installation, I found it was 1.5" too short. However, only the damper was leaking on the original, so I swapped that and all is working well again. So, physically measure carefully before ordering.
