I bought these after much research and help from CPs to replace my discontinued Blum hinges that are currently on all of my cabinets and there’s a lot of them. The old hinges had a plastic component which is exactly the component that keeps breaking and the new replacement hinges are all metal so they seem very sturdy and I’m hopeful that they will last throughout the life of the house! (These replaced Blum 1/2 in Overlay Frame Cabinet Hinges )

I have gotten help from your company before with cabinet parts which are now discontinued. You helped me find a solution then and did it again this time! I sent a photo and you replied immediately with possible replacements. I ordered it and installed it in 5 minutes and it works perfectly. You have the best customer service of any company I’ve dealt with.

I called customer support and gave them the old part numbers to my cabinet hinges and they were able to immediately give me a cross reference to new part numbers. I placed the order with the vendor and received them shortly after. After quick installation, and slight adjustment, I was pleased with the performance of the hinges that self-closed.

I ordered screws for hinge hardeare which NO ONE had. , but was on their website. I got the scews but no hinges & a note that said they eere no llonger available. I was about to call & give them a piece of my mind, whem the himges arrived! Praise God!

This is almost 100% compatible with the earlier Blum face plate hinges I have in my kitchen cabinets. I had been routinely replacing them because they had a plastic component that inevitably self destructs through time, causing the hinges to lose the spring action that snaps the cabinet door closed. This replacement model is made of all metal components and appears to be MUCH studier. The hinge has a slightly different overlay part (the part that attaches to the cabinet jamb): it is more compact, and instead of requiring two screws to secure it, the new part only requires one. A minor downside is that this leaves two visible screw holes where the original overlay screws were, but the they are only visible when the cabinet door is wide open. Most people would not notice. The big advantage in the new model hinges, and what makes them superior to the old Blum hinges, is that the sturdy metal construction (no breakable plastic) insures that I will not need to replace these hinges ever again! Blum strikes a blow against planned obsolesce!
