Used 6 16” brackets for 2 6ft laundry room shelves supporting heavy 2” slabs. No strain, sturdy and holds our 20”x72”x2” 100lb slabs with ease. Used 5/8x3 lag screws.

Used these for support of 60 ft long wooden fence, 5 foot height. Footers to posts, over years have breached. Due to Spring frost and rains. Prevailing NW Wind, tilts the fence, one direction 30 degrees. Applied these against tilt of footer-posts, Long end even with ground. Withstands 1200 pounds. Works superbly.

Used these to hold a large cedar slab on the wall. Worked great, no flex. 2 of these are holding about 350 pounds with no problems at all. If I understand correctly, that's a fraction of what a pair of these brackets can hold.

These didn't;t work as we had hoped for the countertops we needed them for but they would be great for a shelf or something with less depth

K&V (Denmark) 16x14" brackets are well made -- judging by reviews at the large on-line store, much better quality than alternatives. Screw hole positioning was consistent bracket to bracket. One note: Four holes in long leg are slightly smaller than three 1/4" holes in short leg. Smaller holes will accept #14 screws. One criticism, the black powder coat was chipped or flaking off in a few spots on most of the brackets. Cabinet Parts & Fedex delivered the brackets very quickly.
