I was looking for sturdy 22” deep shelving brackets to support a 22” 11 feet long shelf in my garage. The common hardware stores do not carry them. Searching on line yielded only one site—cabinet Parts. The bracket looked promising so I ordered 5. Upon arrival within a week I was pleased with their sturdy construction—heavy gauge steel and sturdy connecting member between both 90 degree arms. Installation was easy using 5/16” 2” long wood bolts. The way to go if deep shelving is required.

This bracket would be a 5-star product except for the fact that the diagonal brace is NOT welded to the legs. It is inserted by tabs into slots on the legs. It will be sturdy as long as a weight like a shelf presses down on the horizontal leg, but if the weight were removed, the diagonal brace might fall out. It did fall out when I picked one of the brackets up from the packing material. I will keep the brackets because I'm going to screw the shelf to the horizontal leg, so the brace will always have weight on it. Just something to be aware of.

Used 6 16” brackets for 2 6ft laundry room shelves supporting heavy 2” slabs. No strain, sturdy and holds our 20”x72”x2” 100lb slabs with ease. Used 5/8x3 lag screws.

Used these for support of 60 ft long wooden fence, 5 foot height. Footers to posts, over years have breached. Due to Spring frost and rains. Prevailing NW Wind, tilts the fence, one direction 30 degrees. Applied these against tilt of footer-posts, Long end even with ground. Withstands 1200 pounds. Works superbly.
