    We had a really hard time finding black 9" brackets for the double slot standards until we came across the CabinetParts website. These look good supporting the black shelves, against the light gray wall in our study. And I suspect we can put a lot more weight on them than just the single row of books they now support.

    I love the heft and look of the bronze plates. My only concern is with the mounting screws. For such a large plate and for security matters the screws are only 1/2 inch long. They would be easy to pry off. I have bought 1 inch screws, (the longest that wo
