2 of 5 Quality control is slipping... August 6th, 2026
by Nicholas from Acworth, GAI purchased 6 pairs of 15" Progressa+ drawer slides for a walnut dresser. Of the 12 slides, 5 were assembled incorrectly at the factory. This review page does not support attaching pictures, but basically the geared mechanism was assembled incorectly. On the 5 bad slides, the gears were off from 1/4" to over 1/2". The intended use was for inset drawers, and it's not feasable to have one side of the drawer to be 1/4" to 1/2" shorter than the other. I was able to disassemble the slide, re-align the internals and re-attach the geared slider to bring the slides into correct position using a 'good' slide as a reference. The quality of the slides is actually very good, just the assembly in the factory was bad. More troubling is that I've reported this on the Salice customer feedback site over a week ago, and have not had any response at all.

by Jeffrey from Uniontown, OHCan't say enough about the robustness of the Progressa+ undermount drawer slide. Love the progressive motion of the slide and I can see where this design will really handle the heavy items like the big pots and pans drawers and dual level flat wear drawers. The mistake I made was being in a hurry to get them ordered and missed the part about the locking devices not being included. So used to them being a full package I did not catch it. If there is a way to throw up and additional warning before you purchase these saying "Hey dummy you forgot something" that would be great. As it is I had to order an pair of locking devices for $8 and pay $10 to ship them.
