This hinge has a very nice feel and allows drawers to pull out of an open cabinet. The only downside is that it protrudes very far into the cabinet when closed.

This was the third set of hinges I had bought for a project and they are exactly what I needed. The soft close does not work very well so I am wondering if there is a problem with my installation. There were no mounting instructions for these specific hinges so I am kind of on my own in this which is unfortunate. I am not finding anything useful on the website either. I would have done 5 stars if there was any guidance provided.

The part itself is fine, but it is listed by the manufacturer as being a replacement for a discontinued older version, part #1006-30 manufactured by Grass. The new hinge in unfortunately too close to being a match, but not a match. The screw holes for mounting the part are half a screw width wider than those for the original part, so they cannot be used, and the overlap makes drilling new holes impossible. You would have to patch the prior mounting holes and then attempt to drill new ones half overlapping your fill. Like I said, close but no cigar, so I only recommend these hinges for new applications where they would be fine.
