    This is a good slide, well built, smooth, sturdy. The self-closing mechanism could be better though - it kicks in a bit too late in the slide run, and when it kicks in it is a bit too strong.

    The KV 8417 is all I expected. They were easy to install. They work flawlessly and quietly. Having full extension slides in the kitchen is an excellent idea. Best price I could find anywhere, and I DID look!

    Yes it is self closing but if you care about items in the drawer tipping over it is not the right one for you. 8450 series is better.

    I was able to find the exact hinge needed to replace broken hidden Soss hinges in a Martha Washington cabinet. The price was reasonable. It did take a while to ship out (ordered May 15, shipping notice June 2) but then arrived quickly once shipped.
